Hello everyone, I am a student of
Computer Science and I am pursuing MCA. As we are on the last stage of
completion of course and coming closer towards our college campus. As our
college have a private group of such students who eager to learn something
different from college syllabus and always interested in getting updated with
upcoming new technologies. The name of that organization is 'Development
Center' and this group having a very good mentor which always gives new ideas
and some live projects to enhance there own capabilities. The main thing about
that group is, the students who gives there 100% to that group and do hard-work
are getting placed in startup company and package of 5-10 lacs. So, we are
motivated from them and decided to work very hard and starts our own group of
6-8 students and named our group as 'Techno-Savvy'. We having our class topper
in our group as he is more intelligent and work for development center, He will
be mentor of our group. So, we started work of learning some new technologies
but after some period our group breaks due to some grouping of students and
improper guidance of mentor because he also doesn't know what to do then after
one month our group mentor have a talk with the senior who currently doing job
in Bangalore and he suggest that you are doing good, but the whole mistake is
of our own as you are the mentor of that group, you should take some serious
action if some-one is not interested in learning.
Our group again gather at a place and discuss the failure of our group and we decided that work should be done only when there are target's and there must be some time limitation. So, we again back to our field and started our work. Firstly we decided some syllabus that what we have to do and proceed towards that. The first target which we set get fails and no one is able to complete the target. But every one tries for that it's good for us. As it was said that failure leads to success. Now we extends our first target to some days and we succeeded. We also have some punishment of fix monetary value so that student tries to complete their targets and through this our organization gains some about of funds which will be used in future upcoming events.
In meeting we also decided to eagerly take part in every competition or any type of seminar, workshop related to our field that express our quality in front of huge crowd. Our main motto is to learn practically things and impose that knowledge in the welfare of society. After some period by getting basic knowledge of all technologies we will decided to move in a specific domain according to each and every student interest. As by doing this we also get appreciation from our college teachers that students are doing good job. They also motivate us to take part in every events and learn something from that.
So, recently we heard that there is a conference in some management college which involves panel discussion under a theme "I AM WHAT I READ" so, we decided to go there and get some information regarding participation and they say any one can come and it's totally free. So, by hearing this our interest reaches to a greater extent and we think that we must go there to get some new experience. Our group members are interested and we plan to go there. It's very far from our location then too we go there. After reaching there we finds there is welcome speech going on and after some time the competition starts and there is panel discussion of 20 students on the stage. It's consists of 4 panel discussion which involves 4 different topics. The theme is "YOUTH : I AM RED". As we knows that Red color signifies the violence, danger and anger. As youth is facing all this problems.
The topics for panel discussion are Social media, News paper & media, Reading books, Religion and Spirituality, There was very realistic and impressive discussion among all this highlighted topics because the discussion doesn't have any imposed language so students were comfortable on there own mother tongue language and that's shows there emotion, feelings and hyper angriness. It was a very impressive experience from that. As in each panel there is only one winner so there are 4 winner from panel discussion. Unfortunately we are not in that four winners but the positive point from this was that we all participated in that competition.
Participation is more important than winning. As it was said by american football player Henry Russell that Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing and it is a well-known quotation in sports. One more thing that if you participate there will be a chance of winning or loosing but If not there is no way to be in the competition.
In today’s competitive world, everyone is eager to win the race. No one is ready to accept the second position in his life. Life is turning into a race in which people are not realizing that they are leaving behind many things of dire importance. We should all have the will to win but winning is not everything. The whole struggle which you do to win something is also very important. But sometimes losing is also beneficial for us. It is not necessary to win every time your participate. Sometimes you have to go through failures too. At that time you should not be disappointed or frustrated at the result. Every experience teaches you something which makes you more mature and capable of dealing with problems.
Participation is more important than just winning. If you will keep on participating in different events then surely one day you will get the result of your hard work. It is not necessary that every time the winner alone gets appreciation and fame for his work. There are many examples of real life champions who have never come first in their life but they are perfect in their lives. It does not matter that you win or lose, all that matters is the courage to participate. It is very essential to fight in life rather than just conquering it. You should be ready to face all kinds of challenges and hurdles which come in your way.
At last I would like to conclude that nothing is last in the world. Every time you can start doing something new in any age. Everything can be possible nothing is impossible , just you have to try for it. So, I think people say that it's no more time to wake up or it's too late to do this but this is wrong you can start at any time. Hard-work leads to success in any age.
